Power Inspired's Studio3000 is a fully featured online double conversion Uninterruptible Power Supply, designed for recording studio's with machine rooms.
What sets this system aside from it's competitors is the array of features at half the price of the main brands. These features include:
- Programmable Outlets
- One bank is on all the time and two further banks can be independantly controlled allowing for load shedding and sequential start up and power down
- LCD Display giving UPS status
- USB & RS232 Port
- Both can be used simultaneously if required unlike other UPS allowing controlled shut down of two connected devices
- Internal SNMP Slot
- An internal SNMP card doesn't require a separate power supply and allows the UPS to be monitored across a network
- The SNMP can be used in conjunction with the USB & RS232 ports giving an unrivalled communications interface
- EPO Function
- Can be connected to an external Emergency Power Off (EPO) switch to kill all power in the event of an emergency
- Remember standard UPS will go to battery in the event of a EPO power off activation maintaining power
- Rack or Tower
- If you want to put it into your 19" rack then it occupies only 2U of rackspace
- In free standing mode, the product comes with supports ensuring that the UPS is stable and occupies only a small footprint.
- Software for MAC
- The controlling software for this UPS is MAC compatible as well as PC compatible
