We are seeking a hard-working assistant to join the Sales & Marketing team. The very nature of a small business means things can change quickly and as a team we need to respond to our customers and communicate with one another to ensure we achieve the objective. To that end you will need to be articulate with an ability to follow instruction and be confident when dealing with colleagues as well as customers and suppliers.
This is a role which requires a flexible, pro-active person who can use his/her own initiative to get the job done. You do not need prior experience but we do ask for reliability, self motivation, the ability to follow instruction and the acceptance of taking on challenges. Our current team comprises of individuals who take pride in their work, voice their opinions and want to take ownership of their role within the organisation. It’s not a bums-on-seat organisation.

Reception duties including answering telephones, front of house greeting of customer, contractors and suppliers.
Assisting members of the team with customer service tasks, performing sales orientated functions e.g. order processing and updating in-house systems.
Carry out all administrative work & housekeeping-tasks relating to the sales administration function.
Ensuring customer requests are fulfilled by working with the Production department to ensure inventory and stock is updated promptly.
Assist with diverse marketing and sales projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
Use and improve the business quality management system.
- Good command of the English language both written and verbal, and ability to follow instruction.
- Reliable with strong organisational skills.
- Computer literate including Microsoft Excel.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude with an ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously but ensuring attention to detail.
- Excel under pressure for deadlines and help the team stay organised.
- Willingness to learn.
